James "Jim" Eagens

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Jim has been teaching in the Conyers/Covington area since December 2003. Jim is thorough and patient and has even been recognized by PADI for that.

When Jim is not at his "full-time" job you will almost surely find him working in the store either helping out on the floor, servicing equipment or assisting with the "behind the scenes" operation of the store. One thing for sure if you have a question or need help with anything scuba related, he can answer it, or will not stop researching it until he gets you an honest answer.

Specialties: Deep, Wreck, U/W Navigation, Search and Recovery, Night, Dry Suit, Enriched Air, Equipment Specialist

Tim Kennedy

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Tim’s interests are diverse, from motorcycling, to woodworking, to scuba.  His adventures in diving began in 1999 when he talked the whole family into getting certified.  Since then he and his wife have taken the opportunity to travel throughout the Caribbean and to Australia. He has continued to pursue diverse areas of scuba, currently studying technical diving, and is a certified gas blender. As an Open Water Instructor, Tim is always thinking of ways to tailor his teaching to the individual.  His students have said his attentiveness assures success for everyone, men women and children alike. Tim believes there is always something new to learn and somewhere new to go.  Let’s go diving!

Jerry Thompson

PADI Specialty Instructor
Jerry first learned about scuba diving from watching re-runs of “Sea Hunt” and “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.”  He and his best friend were certified in 1983.  When his instructor asked him to help one of his fellow students with a problem they were having, he was hooked.  His focus from that day on was to become an Open Water Instructor.  Anyone who knows Jerry also knows his journey to become an instructor has not been an easy one, but as his Course Director said of him, “You are the most dedicated and determined Instructor Candidate I have ever met”, that was certainly the truth.   His hard work and determination paid off when he was certified as an Open Water Instructor in 2007.  Jerry’s patience and understanding makes him an asset to any class he is involved with.  When he is not working is full-time job, you will probably catch Jerry at the shop, talking scuba so stop on by when you have time.

Jerry is also a First Response Instructor, trained to teach Adult and Infant CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and First Aid.

Specialties: Enriched Air Nitrox, Boat, Deep, Night, Wreck and Underwater Navigation

Veronica "VJ" Fallin

PADI Specialty Instructor
Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, VJ has loved the water all her life....

Taking summer trips to visit relatives in Hawaii, living near the ocean in California and having a pool in the back yard, I was always in the water. I always preferred being under the water's surface and when I was certified in SCUBA in Monterey, CA, being able to stay under for long periods of time was a dream come true!

I love to dive! I was certified for 13 years before becoming an instructor.  I am glad I took the "plunge" so that I am able teach and share the joys of Scuba with new divers! I am also an Emergency First Response Instructor so I can also teach CPR/AED (automated external defibrillator), another great thing.  Being able teach someone how to save another's life.

Come on by the shop and let's talk about where you have been or where you would love to go!  The possibilities are endless............................

Specialties: Enriched Air Nitrox, Boat, Deep, Night, Wreck, Underwater Navigation and Digital Underwater Photography
